Copyright and removals

Photos on Melomi belong to their photographers and publishers. We credit the original post when we know it. If you own a photo and want it credited differently or removed, we will do so.

Requesting a removal

Open the photo, choose Report and pick "I own this photo". The form asks for everything below. You can also email [email protected] with:

• the Melomi link of each photo (open the photo and copy the address);
• where the original was published, if you can;
• your name and how you are connected to the work;
• a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized, and that the information in your request is accurate.

A moderator reviews every request. When a request is complete we delete the photo and block the same image from being added again.

Other removals

To report a photo taken in someone's private life, private information, or anything else that should not be on the site, use the Report link on the photo or at the bottom of a profile. You do not need an account. Signed in editors can also propose removing a photo from its gallery page.
